Craft the design and story for a philanthropic advisor on a mission to help people find more joy and meaning in their giving.
Grant Philanthropic Advisors was born from founder Kaky Grant’s years of non-profit experience — and her desire to educate and inspire philanthropists to better leverage their resources to create positive, enduring change in their communities. By helping clients define their personal values and priorities, Grant creates strategy and plans for more targeted, meaningful, and effective giving — and provides ongoing support and evaluation of new opportunities.
The brand design reflects Grant’s knowledge, integrity, objectivity, and creativity — and infuses a sense of joy and possibility.
The bold, angular letterforms are a modern take on a traditional sans serif style.
The color palette utilizes contemporary takes on traditional hues of navy and gold to reflect the sense of trust, confidence, and freedom clients feel when partnering with Grant.
The logomark is an abstract “G” that resembles a fingerprint, a nod to the brand’s mission to help donors create a giving portfolio that’s aligned with their values — as unique as their fingerprint. The individual lines that make up the “G” represent the path of the donor, advisor, and recipient.
The tagline, “connect with purpose,” speaks to both Grant’s role as a trusted, unbiased advisor with deep relationships in the philanthropic community as well as a call to action to make giving more joyful and meaningful.
Print materials including business cards, letterhead, notecards, envelopes, folders, proposal templates, and an introductory brochure vividly bring the brand design to life and create a flexible system of touch points for both prospective and current clients.
The website’s smart, confident, and conversational copy is complemented by bold typography, color blocks, and subtle animations that invite visual interest and add elements of sophistication and joy to the browsing experience.
